Skyblue Motel

My friend and I stayed 1 night at Skyblue Motel in Lyantonde near masaka town Uganda on our way to Lake Mburo National Park.

As we arrived late Friday afternoon we didn't want to pay for an extra day's park fee and an expensive night inside the park, where we had a booking at Mihingo Lodge for the following night (absolutely fantastic place!).

Skyblue Motel was a good alternative, and we paid 45 UDS for a double room including breakfast.

The room was basic but spacious, clean and self-contained.

There was some traffic noise from the near by highway but we were tired and it didn't really bother us.

The hotel has a restaurant serving simple but tasty dishes in huge portions at reasonable prices. Breakfast was also nice.

Skyblue Motel is a 15-20 minute's drive from where you branch off the high way to enter Lake Mburo.

This makes the hotel a convenient choice if you don't want to spent too much on accommodation.
